Sarang Helicopter Display Team Represents India at Singapore Airshow 2026

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is participating in the Singapore Airshow 2026, with its Sarang Helicopter Display Teamas the sole confirmed flying contingent representing India at the event. 

The Singapore Airshow 2026 is being held from February 3 to 8, 2026, at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore. It is a biennial aerospace and defence exhibition that brings together air forces, industry organisations, and aviation stakeholders from multiple countries. 


Sarang Helicopter Display Team and Aircraft

The IAF’s Sarang Helicopter Display Team will fly the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv, which is indigenously designed and manufactured. 

The Sarang team comprises five ALH helicopters configured for aerobatic display and precision flying. 


Absence of Tejas Participation

Official information released by the Ministry of Defence and Singapore Airshow organisers lists only the Sarang team as India’s flying display contingent. As of the latest available information, the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas is not included in the announced flying or static display line-up for the Singapore Airshow 2026. 

There has been no official confirmation of Tejas participation from either the Ministry of Defence or the airshow organising authorities. 


About the Singapore Airshow

The Singapore Airshow is a biennial aerospace event held at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore and is described as one of Asia’s major aerospace and defence exhibitions. The 2026 edition brings together multiple flying display teams and a static exhibit of aircraft from government and industry participants.
