class=\"wp-block-heading\">Disaster Response Contributions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the&nbsp;<strong>2024 floods and landslides in Wayanad, Kerala<\/strong>, Lieutenant Colonel Shelke participated in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her role included evacuation, coordination of relief efforts, and restoration of essential services.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She supervised the construction of a&nbsp;<strong>190-foot Bailey Bridge at Chooralmala<\/strong>, restoring connectivity in areas affected by landslides.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her team mobilised more than&nbsp;<strong>150 tonnes of equipment<\/strong>&nbsp;for relief and recovery operations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She trained over&nbsp;<strong>2,300 personnel<\/strong>&nbsp;in disaster response and humanitarian operations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2
